Certification usually takes 14 to 90 business days. The timeline depends on your headcount, the number of branches and sites, how ready your documentation is, the complexity of your processes and the auditors’ schedule. For companies with more than 1,000 employees or more than four branches, we calculate the timeline separately.

For export, we choose a certification body whose accreditation is part of the Global ACI MRA (formerly IAF MLA) mutual recognition system, which covers 100+ countries, including the EU, the US, the UK, the UAE and China. Such a certificate carries more weight with a foreign customer, bank, marketplace or supply chain partner.

But there is no universal automatic recognition for every deal: a specific customer or tender may set its own requirements for the standard, the certification body and accreditation. We check these conditions before the project starts. An apostille and translation into the language of the destination country are available as a separate option.

Annual surveillance is not included in this price: it is a separate paid service of the certification body.

Accreditation is independent confirmation of a certification body’s competence: its procedures, its auditors and its right to assess against the specified standards and fields of activity.

For international purposes, what matters is the mutual recognition chain of the Global ACI MRA (formerly IAF MLA). The IAF MLA mark remains valid.

A certificate with international accreditation is not needed in every situation. For local needs and internal corporate requirements, a certificate without it will do: it is cheaper and faster but gives no international recognition. We select the body for your specific goal: a tender, a customer requirement or export.

Every certificate has a unique number. First, check it in the certification body’s register, which is usually a public database with no sign-up. The organization name, address, standard, certification scope, issue date and current status must all match.

For an accredited certificate, also check the certification body itself and its scope of accreditation. International certificates may also appear in IAF CertSearch if the data has been submitted to the database. Once the certification body issues your certificate, we will send you instructions and a link for verification.

That depends on the documentation of the specific procurement. In one case ISO 9001 is enough; in another, a particular edition of the standard, accreditation or additional standards are required: tenders on goszakup.gov.kz and samruk.kz often also require ISO 14001 (environment), ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety) or ST RK ISO for certain industries.

If the tender is close, we will arrange a preliminary letter on your certification status, which is attached to the tender application at the qualification stage.

The certification body issues the certificate itself in parallel, usually by the time the contract is signed.

• a description of the QMS scope;
• a process map;
• allocation of responsibilities;
• an assessment of risks and opportunities;
• control of documents and nonconformities;
• records of employee competence, internal audits and management reviews.

The certification body carries out two surveillance audits, in months 9–12 and 21–24 after the certificate is issued. Surveillance is a separate paid service of the certification body, usually about 70% of the initial audit cost. It is not included in the cost of the initial certification project.

Between audits, the company maintains the QMS itself: it updates documents, corrects nonconformities and trains staff. If records are not kept, nonconformities will be found during surveillance, and if they are not corrected, the certificate will be suspended.

Recertification takes place before the end of the three-year cycle. A new edition of the standard, ISO 9001:2026, was published in September 2026. ISO 9001:2015 certificates remain valid until September 30, 2029.

Yes, if the certificate is valid and was issued by an accredited body. Your certification history is kept. This is usually needed when the previous body no longer works with the company or the certificate is about to expire.

We check the certificate status, its scope and the surveillance audits already completed, and then assess whether a transfer is possible. If it is not, we plan recertification and coordinate the dates so that your certification stays uninterrupted for contracts and tenders.
